- Is all of my store's data private — how, and why is it better than other AI tools?
- Yes — privacy is the design, not a setting. Poise is push-to-talk and zero-retention: nothing is recorded or stored, the customer is never captured, and every interaction is cryptographically attested. The coach answers only from your own documents, so your data isn't mixed into a shared model. And for the highest assurance you can run Poise self-hosted / on-prem — even air-gapped — so the software and data never leave your own compute. Many AI assistants are always-on, keep transcripts, or send your data to a shared cloud model; Poise is the opposite by default.
- Does Poise record employees or customers?
- No. True push-to-talk means the microphone is on only while the button is held and off the instant it's released. Nothing is recorded, nothing is stored, and the customer is never captured.
- What is the “no audio retained” attestation?
- Each interaction carries a cryptographically signed receipt attesting that no audio was retained — a verifiable, tamper-evident record of the zero-retention guarantee, not just a policy promise.
